We are thrilled to launch the OCAC Environment Project website! 🚀 This site will serve as a hub for our environmental initiatives and a place to share news and tips on how to live more sustainably.

My name is Sophia and I founded the OCAC Environment Project to raise awareness on environmental issues and inspire positive change. 🌱 As students at OCAC, we are in a unique position to make a difference by educating our peers and community.

On this site you’ll find:

• Articles on environmental topics like renewable energy, reducing waste, and eating locally grown food. 🥕 We’ll dive into these issues and provide actionable steps you can take.

• Profiles of green organizations and businesses in our community that you can support. 🏬

• A calendar of upcoming events such as beach cleanups, recycling drives, environmental fairs and more. 🗓️

• Ways to get involved with the OCAC Environment Project on campus and beyond. 🙌

• Tips for living an eco-friendly, sustainable lifestyle. 🌏 We’ll cover everything from swapping disposable products for reusable, to buying second-hand, and eating seasonally.

Our goal is to inform and inspire others to care about the environment. 🌎 Together we can implement solutions to protect our planet for future generations. It all starts with education and small daily actions.
